Helvar Transmission has introduced a range of 7.9-inch to 15-inch industrial flat-panel displays and panel-mounted industrial computer touch screens that support multi-touch operation. These new products feature industrial-standard anti-glare for a wider viewing area, high resolution for precise operation, and automatic detection of false touches and operations caused by palm strikes or contamination. The glass panels are scratch-resistant and chemical-resistant, while the metal edging protects the glass edges from mechanical damage. Thanks to the German multi-touch devices, machinery manufacturers can implement modern operating concepts featuring zooming , scrolling, and context-sensitive displays. Professional design, practical functions, and supporting engineering tools enable users to easily and efficiently use the multi-touch user interface.

The new 10.9-inch industrial flat-panel touchscreens are ideal for intuitive and efficient multi-touch operation of machinery. They can be easily operated even with protective gloves and can be used for single-touch applications. Designed for industrial applications, these new PCT-based products are waterproof and dustproof. Their glass panel and keyboard-less design make them particularly suitable for applications in industries such as food and beverage that require stringent hygiene standards. These new products, housed in an aluminum housing, can operate continuously 24 hours a day and meet high temperature, vibration, shock, and EMC requirements.
